How to do a soft winter arc

A winter arc is 90 days (roughly October to New Year) of quietly working on yourself: a few small habits, done most days, while everyone else waits for January. This is the gentle version: built for real weeks with classes, work and rest.

The 5-step soft winter arc

  1. Pick 3 habits, not 10. One for movement (lift, Pilates, barre or a walk), one for body (protein, water, sleep), one for mind (read, journal, phone down).
  2. Make them small. "Move 20 minutes" beats "gym every day". Small habits survive busy weeks.
  3. Set a start date and a 90-day end. Counting days showed up feels better than counting a fragile streak.
  4. Allow 2 rest days a week. Rest is part of the plan, not a fail.
  5. Do a 20-minute Sunday reset. Look at the week, book classes, prep food, check money.

Questions

What is a winter arc?

A self-improvement push over the last roughly 90 days of the year: building small habits around fitness, health, money and mindset before the new year starts.

How long is a winter arc?

Usually about 90 days, often from early October to the end of December. Any 90-day window works; start whenever you are reading this.

What if I miss a day?

Keep going. The free Winter Arc app counts days showed up and uses grace days, so a missed day bends the streak instead of breaking it.

Is the tracker really free?

Yes. The app and the 14-day printable are free. An optional one-time Soft Life Pass adds extra features.
